My sketchbook

Sketchbooks have always been an important part of my identity as an artist - from when I was in middle school, I've accumulated over 30 sketchbooks, containing messy sketches to rough drafts for paintings and illustrations. I view sketchbooks as a place where anything goes, from diary entries to collages of random brochures, tickets and wristbands; this sense of freedom and flexibility allows sketchbooks to be a location where discovery and interactions between ideas and mediums to take place.

My favorite activity to do when I'm back home - figure drawing

I love seeing how different mediums influence my process!
